Lewis A. Blydenburgh, Jr., 59 passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 after suffering for many years from Bipolar disease. He was born on February 9, 1952 in Southampton, NY and lived his whole life here. As a teenager he began his career as an auto mechanic with Ernie Wilson. He worked for 17 years at the Hampton Jitney. While working full time he earned a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Lewis loved his many dogs and cats. He and his wife Lynn loved to garden together, walk on the beach and swim at the lake. Known to many by his nickname Lovon, he loved his red 1966 Chevelle.
In addition to his wife Lynn, he is survived by his daughter Candice Nelson and son Lewis E. Blydenburgh both of Southampton and grandsons Scott and Michael Nelson. His brother Neil Blydenburgh of Florida and sister Betty Swanson of Southampton and many other loving family members. He was pre-deceased by his parents Lewis Sr. an Mildred Blydenburgh. He was a loving husabnd, father, brother and grandfather. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Connell Funeral Home in Southampton where a private cremation will be held.
