Kenneth T. Rothwell

O'Connell-Rothwell Funeral Director

Ken RothwellKen has been there to assist families through some of the most tragic disasters of modern times.

Whether it is the incomprehensible loss of a child, or the impact of a national tragedy he has found the time to bring solace to others. Ken worked closely with families of victims of the Flight 800 disaster volunteering to transport remains from Long Island to a home in Pennsylvania. He learned a great deal during the aftermath of this crash; and the experience enabled him to assist other families following the horrific loss resulting from the World Trade Center tragedy on 9/11. His dedication and tireless efforts earned him special recognition from the Governor of New York and the Nassau/Suffolk Funeral Directors Association. In our community, Ken has served as Captain in the Southampton Fire Department, Exulted Ruler of the Southampton Elks Lodge and Financial Secretary to the Knights of Columbus. He is a member and Lector at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts in Southampton.
