Beloved husband of Jeannette (Caruso), Loving father to Michael and Scott, daughter-in-laws, Kristen and Maureen, and extraordinary grandfather to his 5 grandchildren (Jordan, Jade, Sean, Tanner, Abbie). Jabo graduated high school in June of 1957 then went on to have an outstanding and decorated career in the U.S. Navy. He enlisted in the United States Navy in November of 1958 and was honorably discharged from the Naval Service in November of 1964. He spent 30 years as a supervisor for Long Island Lighting Company. Once retired he spent all of his time showering love on his wife and grandchildren and being the best he could be. His favorite thing was to go on a drive to Coopers beach in the afternoons, read the paper with his loving wife and relaxing in his recliner and glass of scotch. He was also a stinker for having the best lawn in the neighborhood.
He was no doubt the most loving and generous man and was known all over town for his long conversations, words of wisdom and his compassionate hugs. He will forever be missed and in our hearts but great things are never lost.
Please join us in celebrating the loving spirit of Jabo Jarzombek and have a toast to the man of many words. To you, Jabo. We love you. Tons and Tons
