Thomas Paul Stubelek

Thomas Paul Stubelek passed away on April 7th in his home. 

Tom was born in Southampton on January 20, 1949 to Marilyn McLeod Stubelek and Walter Henry Stubelek. Tom graduated from Southampton High School and began working as a milkman for Sherry's Dairy and later for Schwenk's Dairy. Tom loved the outdoors and ultimately became a gardener and caretaker. He took pride in caring for his roses and the estates where he worked all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, his brother, Timothy, and his sister, Susan. Tom's son, Michael, lives in Southampton with his family, Cassie, and his son, Ryan. Tom also had a niece, Nikki, and two nephews, Christopher and Tyson. 

When not working, Tom loved spending time at the ocean or watching the Yankees. He enjoyed his friends and always was ready to lend a helping hand. Tom was a quiet, gentle soul who will be missed by everyone who knew him. 

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, at O'Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 30 Little Plains Road, Southampton, NY. A Prayer Service will take place on Monday, April 14, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's Memory to the Peconic Land Trust.
