Paul Lipomi died on March 24th at his home in Southampton surrounded by his loving family. He was 86. Raised in Sag Harbor, he was a graduate of Pierson High School and Farmingdale State College. He served two tours of duty with the U.S. Navy

Mr. Lipomi was retired from the plumbing and heating business. A 50 year member of the Southampton Fire Department, he was especially proud to have been a member of the Agawam Engine Company.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Genevieve, a daughter Diane and her husband David. The family received friends at the O'Connell Funeral Home in Southampton on Tuesday March 26th. A funeral mass was held Wednesday March 27 at Our Lady of Poland R. C. Church in Southampton with internment following at St. Andrews Cemetery in Sag Harbor.

Memorial donations may be made to either the Southampton Fire Department or Southampton Hospital Foundation.
