Morgan Patrick Croke

Morgan Patrick Croke, age 69, Southampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, May 21, in the comforts of his home.

Morgan was born on July 16, 1952, in Southampton, New York.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Croke, and sister Melissa.

He is survived by his brother Michael, his sons Brendan and Dylan Croke, his niece Jesse Croke, nephew Miller Croke and grandchildren Autumn, Tyler, Naia, and Niki,

along with his two daughters-in-law, Emily and Tomomi

Morgan was a man of many talents and interests. In the early 1980s, he was a small business owner, owning and operating Croke Pest Control, an extermination service. 

Morgan was also a skilled carpenter by trade, working in the later years of his career building and remodeling many of the fine homes in the Hamptons. 

Morgan was also a keen investor. He displayed passion and success in both the stock market and local real estate. 

His personal hobbies ranged from spearfishing and clamming, to clay shooting and field shooting, to playing musical instruments, to enjoying novels, theater, film, the arts, poetry, and sports. 

Morgan was an involved father, grandfather, and uncle (fun). He always attended and volunteered at his sons' high school sporting events and never missed an opportunity to spoil his grandchildren on birthdays and holidays. 

Morgan had a sharp sense of humor, a sensitive, caring heart, and the soul of a poet, all of which were self-evident in all of his endeavors.

Morgan will be mourned, missed, and cherished, as well as remembered forever by those friends and family that were blessed enough to know and love him and receive his love.

A Celebration of Morgan's life will be held on July 16th, 2022; please contact the family for details.

We would like to send out a special Thank You to the SVVA for all their help, kindness and empathy throughout the past year. This has been a challenging and heavy hearted 12 months but they have been there every step of the way to not only ensure Morgan was getting the best medical treatment but also that he was being treated with gentleness and compassion in this trying time.
