Lynn Dart Wesnofske of Bridgehampton, NY passed away December 26, 2012 at Stony
Brook Hospital from complications arising from pneumonia.

Born Lynn Ainsworth Dart on January 28, 1941 in Mount Kisco, NY, she was the
daughter of Donald D. Dart and Lois Urion. She married Raymond Wesnofske of
Bridgehampton in 1964 and had one son, Christopher of New York City, and both
survive her.

She was educated at St. Margaret's School in Waterbury Connecticut and
Westchester Community College. Before marrying she had worked as a medical
laboratory technician at Southampton Hospital and afterward founded a
Bridgehampton based mailing and wordprocessing business in the 1970's called
Wordtech.

With also a sporting interest in her life, she followed several pursuits
including showing dogs, equestrian riding, and partnering in racing standardbred
horses.

An active civic person, she gave her time, resources and energy to many
charitable and community causes the most enduring of which were found in the
Community House Association and the Bridgehampton Village Improvement Society
(BVIS). Besides serving as an officer and director, she was committed to their
fund raising and communications for many years. For the BVIS, she long worked
to maintain the charm of Bridgehampton Village. She was also active in the
founding of Peconic Landing, a life care community in Greenport, NY.

With a special talent for engaging people plus remembering faces, community
events and local history, she was a willing host for civic fund raising events
on her home premises of Ocean View farm for organizations such as the Peconic
Land Trust multiple times. She was also an active member of the Devon Yacht
Club in Amagansett, NY, and the Pelican Isle Yacht Club in Naples, FL.

Besides her husband Raymond and son Chris, she is survived by her loving sister
Joan Dart Ogren of Connecticut to whom she was especially dedicated, and also
her in-laws Teresa and James Drew of Hampton Bays, Clyde and Victoria Wesnofske,
and Edward Wesnofske of Bridgehampton.
