Louise Grodski Obituary

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Louise Grodski on October 1st, 2025 of Southampton, New York. Born on October 18th, 1932 to Matthew and Mary Ann Rewinski, Louise was the youngest of eleven brothers and sisters. After graduating from Southampton High School, Louise married the love of her life, Henry Grodski, on October 18th, 1953. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with eight children: Henry Jr., Richard, Carol, David, Susan, Charles, Donald, and Nancy.

Louise was dearly loved as a mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed the company of family, Sunday afternoon car rides to the beach and daily visits from her great-granddog Roo.

A wake service will be held at O’Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 7th from 3pm to 6pm and a funeral service is scheduled at Our Lady of Poland on Wednesday, October 8th at 10am. Burial will follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery.

The family invites you to join them after the services on Wednesday at Southampton Fire House on Hampton Rd. for food, refreshments, and a chance to share some memories with one another of Louise.
