Lillian Rhoads of East Hampton, New york passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the age of 93. Born Friday, March 19, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daught of the late Frederick Schofer and the late Katherine Zoeller Schofer. The beloved wife the late James J. Rhoads. Loving mother to Philip J. Roads (Karen), Christopher Roads (Heather), Frederick Roads (Denese) and Eileen E. Cororan. Cherished grand mother of Jason, Michael, Jonathan, Katelyn, Steven, Brittni, Amanda, Bryan and Dava Corcoran.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at The Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts located at 168 Hill Street Southampton, New York with Msgr. William Gill. Interment will be in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on August 1, 2013 at the O'Connell funeral Home, 30 Little plains Road, Southampton, New York.
