Joan Gannon Foley of Southampton entered into eternal life on February 5, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Foley. Loving daughter of the late Thomas A. and the late Margaret A. Gannon. Dear sister of the late John A. and Myles R. Gannon. She is survived by her cherished sister, Mary Patricia Gannon, 6 nieces and nephews, 14 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 23 great grandnieces and great grandnephews. Along with her husband she moved to Southampton in 1973 after purchasing the Osborne Travel agency on Hampton Rd. For over thirty years she was a dedicated volunteer to the feeding the poor, first through Catholic Charities and later through Human Resources of the Hamptons. For over sixty years she was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of Assisi. She will be missed by her family, many friends and neighbors.
