Dolores M. Buttonow, 82 a lifelong resident of Southampton passed away on April 13th at University Hospital at Stonybrook.. Dolores graduated from Southampton High School and was employed by Cunningham Insurance until her retirement. Over her lifetime, Dorlores enjoyed travelling to many places, including Hawaii, California, Las Vegas, and Greenland. She also enjoyed gardeing, needlework and weekend trips to casinos.

She is survivied by her brother, Stanley Buttonow, and sister, Cornelia Buttonow, both from Southampton, her niece, Marie Jackson of Virginia, a nephew, Kennneth Janik of Florida and Maria Greenlaw of Hampton Bays, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was held at the O'Connell Funeral Home located at 30 Little Plains Rd in Southampton. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday at Our Lady of Poland RC Church in Southampton. Interment followed at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary RC Cemetery in Southammpton.
