Ann T. Preller

Ann T. Preller, age 95 of Greenport, passed away on July 31, 2021.  Beloved mother to the late Neal, William, Barbara, the late John, Alan, Jean and James. Beloved grandmother of 16, treasured great-grandmother of 10. Ann enjoyed needlework, gardening, crossword puzzles, and cigarettes. She was also a fervent baseball fan, first the Brooklyn Dodgers, and later the New York Mets. She always had a soft spot for lovable losers. If 90% of parenting is showing up, Ann earned an A+ in attendance. Ann was a devoted wife for 60 years to her late husband, Alan J. Preller, who passed in 2006. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at O'Connell-Rothwell Funeral home, located at 30 Little Plains Road, Southampton, NY. A Mass will be held at the Basilica Parish of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary on Wednesday, August 4, at 10:00 AM with a burial following at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Southampton, NY.
