Albert J. Essay, Jr. of Southampton and Jupiter, Florida died at his home in Jupiter, Florida on May 5, 2011 at the age of 81. Albert was a member of the Southampton Fire Deaprtment, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, A member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the Moose Lodge.

Visitation will be held for 81 year old Southampton resident Albert J. Essay, Jr. on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home located at 30 Little Plains Rd in Southampton. A Southampton BPOE Elks service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM at O'Connell Funeral Home. A 4th Degree Knights of Columbus service will also be held on Tuesday at 8:00 PM at O'Connell Funeral Home. A Southampton Fire Department Firematic Service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at O'Connell Funeral Home. Albert was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary RC Church in Southampton. Interment will follow at Sacred Hearts RC Cemetery in Southampton.
