Milton Carlos “Milt” Enstine, age 77, Jr. passed away peacefully on October 30, 2019 in Southampton. He was born April 27, 1942. He was the oldest son of Milton C. Enstine and Julia Harrington Enstine. He is survived by daughter Delphi Sech, her husband Rob, and grandchildren Elijah, Noah, Gabriel, and Helen Julia Sech all from San Clemente, California; as well as brother Peter (Sandy) Enstine, Thomas Enstine, and sister Ann Enstine and many nieces and nephews. After serving in the U.S. Army, he lived and worked in Southern California before returning home to join the family business. He was an avid animal lover and had an impressive collection of exotic birds. Many visitors would come from all over to enjoy his birds. He loved music and literature and was a talented piano player who could play an assortment of classical pieces. He had a passion for the Rogers Memorial Library and served on the Board of Directors for several years. He was a peaceful, gentle man who enjoyed people tremendously. Visitation will be held at the O’Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home, 30 Little Plains Road in Southampton on Monday, November 4, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Rogers Memorial Library in Milt’s memory would be deeply appreciated.
