John Hedin Barnhill

Long time resident of Southampton, John Hedin Barnhill, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2019.  He was born on May 10, 1949 in Wilmington, DE to Samuel Hedin and Marjorie Keaveny Hedin .  He was predeceased by his parents, stepfather James Barnhill, and sister Judith Barnhill.  He is survived by his brother Samuel (Pamela) and godsons Richard and Kevin McMahon.  John was a partner/chef of the Drivers Seat for many years.  He loved living in Southampton, going to the beach with friends and his beloved dog Wally.  Johnny loved traveling, cooking and entertaining.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  There will be a Memorial Visitation at The O'Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home on Friday, November 8th from 5pm to 7pm.
